A gut routine does not need to be dramatic. It needs to be repeatable.
Start with food. Did your day include fruit, dal or beans, cooked vegetables, some whole grain and a sensible snack? If not, fibre is already low. Next, check water. Psyllium husk, dal, vegetables and other fibre rich foods work better when fluid intake is steady.
Then check movement. Sitting all day can disturb regularity even when meals are decent. A short walk after lunch or dinner is a simple support. Timing matters too. Try not to keep changing meal times, sleep times and toilet routine every day.
A practical checklist looks like this: one fruit, two vegetable servings, one pulse or bean serving, water through the day, ten to twenty minutes of walking, and a regular toilet window without rushing. If using a fibre supplement, start low and keep it away from medicines unless your doctor has advised otherwise.
Do not chase a perfect gut routine. Build a normal one. If symptoms are severe, persistent or unusual, get medical help.
Fibre works best as part of daily rhythm. The gut usually likes boring consistency more than extreme effort.
Run this checklist for a week before changing anything else. Most gut complaints trace back to one missing item on this short list.
